Sri Lanka Customs

Sri Lanka Customs is one of the oldest government departments, established in 1806. With the introduction of the Customs Ordinance, it evolved into a fully-fledged state institution responsible for revenue collection, trade facilitation, border protection, and enforcement of customs laws.
