NOTICE TO CHA COMPANIES

From the next intake onward, all CHA candidates will be subjected to a mandatory six-month internship at a Customs House Agency in order to register as a Customs House Agent and obtain the CHA Pass.

Therefore, nominations are hereby invited from CHA companies with more than five years of establishment to offer internships. Please fill out the form available at the CHA Branch before 12.06.2026 for registration.

Your support in this initiative would be greatly appreciated, as it will help improve the quality and professionalism of future Customs House Agents.

Please note that Sri Lanka Customs will only maintain and provide the list of companies offering internships. Salaries, allowances, and all other terms and conditions should be negotiated directly between the companies and the interns. This department will not be held responsible for such matters.
