The Customs House Agent (CHA) Certificate Course 2025 – II [Limited for Temporary (T-pass) holders]
Important Notice- This will be the ONLY intake LIMITED for T-Pass holders previously registered with Sri Lanka Customs.
The next CHA Certificate Course open for all applicants(with GCE A/L as the entry qualification) is scheduled to start from December 2025 onwards and will be notified later.

· The above course is scheduled to start from 13.09.2025.
· Required qualifications for eligibility:
I. Should be a T-pass holder, having minimum of 06 passes in G.C.E (O/L) Examination in one sitting including English, Mathematics and Mother Language.
or
II. Should be a T-pass holder, having obtained the T-pass for minimum of 05 years.
· Applications will be received at HRD Directorate, 9th Floor, Sri Lanka Customs Headquarters, No. 40, Main Street, Colombo 11 from 13.08.2025 onwards from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on weekdays.
· Only 500 participants are to be selected for the certificate course in the order of receiving applications to the HRD Directorate. Closing date for receiving applications is 22.08.2025.
· Fifty (50) applicants will be selected on first come first serve basis, to attend in person in the Customs HRD Auditorium and 450 applicants via virtual mode (preference shall be mentioned in the application form).
· The course will be conducted for nine (09) consecutive days on weekends (except public holidays) from 09.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m., on hybrid mode.
· The course fee of Rs.16,700.00 needs to be paid to the Customs Shroff and the original copy of the receipt is to be submitted to the HRD Directorate.
· Prior to submission of the application to Human Resource Development (HRD) Directorate, Section 01 of
the application must be endorsed by the CHA Unit of Sri Lanka Customs confirming the applicants T-Pass status. For further details, please refer “Instructions to Applicants and Terms and Conditions” in page No. 05 of the
